RCS Exam Committee member, Paige Wallachy BS, RCS, says “It’s been an incredible experience volunteering for CCI and being surrounded by some of the best sonographers in the country. I love the relationships I’ve built and the fact that I can call on them when I need help. I’m so thankful to be part of setting the standard for our graduating professionals!” Paige works as a Cardiac Sonographer at Oregon Health and Sciences University in beautiful Portland, Oregon.
RPhS Exam Committee member Donna Kelly, RPhS, RVT, RDMS, says, “Volunteering with CCI has been a perfect addition to my ultrasound career. It allows me to step out of my daily routine as a sonographer to interact with other like-minded volunteers.  With each meeting I get to work toward making the vascular community stronger, learn new things from my fellow volunteers, and create friendships and connections that I will enjoy for many years to come.” Donna is the Technical Director at Middlesex Surgical Associates, Beth Israel Lahey Health, in Winchester, Massachusetts.
RCIS Exam Committee member Tom Michnowski, CRAT, RCIS says, “With the ever-changing atmosphere of the Cardiac Cath Lab, I truly admire the passion that CCI volunteers bring to the table each and every exam committee meeting. I enjoy working side by side with some of the brightest technologists in the industry. The committee members discuss new technology they are using and the many different ways that procedures are done at their facilities, it is amazing to learn from one another.  When I voice my thoughts, I am treated with respect by everyone, which shows that they truly care. The best part about volunteering with CCI is getting everyone together to work on test questions with CCI’s goals as the driving force.” Tom works in the Cardiac Cath Lab at the Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Mary’s campus, in Rochester, Minnesota. Tom is also the Clinical Coordinator for the Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Program through the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences.
RVS Exam Committee member Troy Russo, RVS, RVT, RDCS, RDMS, says, “It has been an honor to work with CCI as a vascular ultrasound subject matter expert (SME). From the first time I volunteered, CCI showed that they have an unrelenting desire to maintain the best credentialing examinations possible. This shows in everything that CCI’s board members and volunteers do. Every RVS exam committee meeting I attend, I feel like I am with family members. The work (it never feels like work) that I do with them has enhanced my own knowledge and experience. I love working with my fellow committee members and even though I’m volunteering, I feel like I owe them a thank you. Thank you!” Troy works as a Cardiology/Vascular Supervisor at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Flushing, New York and as a Vascular Technologist/Echocardiographer at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Queens, New York.
