Vascular Technologist

Vascular Technologist Position - Full- Time
 
We are seeking a registered or registry-eligible Vascular Sonographer for noninvasive Peripheral Vascular laboratories throughout the Hampton Roads area. Candidate will be responsible for the coordination and administration of all ultrasound exams; ensuring technical quality and timely reporting of results.  Assuring compliance with appropriate regulatory agencies related to patient and employee safety.
The Technologist maintains a high standard of medical ethics, is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of vascular disease, new procedures and continued education.

REQUIREMENTS

• Completion of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program from an accredited school.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience in vascular studies following certification
• Must be a RVT, RVS or RDMS registered.
• If registry eligible and application filed in current year then please apply.
• Requires knowledge and ability to perform vascular diagnostic procedures; knowledge of anatomy to ensure proper scanning; ability to conduct various testing; and the ability to interpret results.
• Knowledge of ICAVL accreditation a plus!
• American Heart Association CPR certification for health care providers is required within 60 days of employment.
